I had the honor and pleasure to take up residence at MOAH: Cedar in Lancaster, California from September through November 2018. I wanted to create a visceral experience. I wanted to include a series of images from “A Striped World”, a continuing collaboration with photographer Eric Schwabel documenting the journey of a mythical striped figure. The entryway is an assault on the senses in 3 dimensions and beyond. And then I asked, What does a White room feel like? What does a Black room feel like? This is what happened.
